Originally from Philadelphia, Coach Solomon finished his prep career in Rohnert Park CA at Rancho Cotate High where he lettered in football, basketball, and track. As the JV head coach and varsity assistant, Coach Solomon took Casa Grande on to win their first league title in over 25 years. Upon returning to Philadelphia in 2002, Coach Solomon worked with neighborhood youth on their skills and their academics trying to help as many young people as he could in his community. In 2005, Coach Solomon moved to the Ypsilanti area of Michigan with his future wife. From 2006-2009, Coach Solomon was an assistant at Ypsilanti High with the girls' varsity team and was the girls' JV head coach in the 2008-2009 school year. He has also coached the Michigan Mavericks 16U girls' team and the Michigan Supreme 14U team. Coach Solomon is passionate about developing a strong base in fundamentals and teaching young people to play the "right way."
